To promote the use of its products during the holiday season, 3M Scotch Brand Canada asked me to develop gift styling visuals and content that it could leverage in media and blogger outreach, as well as in marketing activations.
For each of four seasonal gift styling trends, I wrapped a collection of three gifts and developed a DIY how-to that utilized key products. I provided on-set styling at a photoshoot for the program, and the gifts appeared in handouts and media materials, as well as on social media and the Scotch Brand website. For the brand’s blog, I wrote detailed how-to instructions to accompany the DIY projects that I had developed. As part of Scotch Brand’s activation at the One of a Kind Show, images of my gifts appeared in contest promotions and on event signage for brand-sponsored workshops and its Ultimate Gift Wrapping Challenge contest finale event. Additionally, I wrote the lesson plans and sourced materials for participants’ use in the workshops, and was a judge for the Gift Wrapping Challenge.
