When the national suit retailer Harry Rosen asked me to wrap two dozen gifts for some of its best clients, they wanted to use its branded wrapping paper. The signature houndstooth pattern — which is traditionally used for men's suits — appears on the company's apparel boxes and other brand assets. I love when brands have this kind of consistent attention to detail.
Starting with the paper that Harry Rosen supplied, I sourced a coordinating ribbon to finish off the packages. Grosgrain — also traditionally used in making clothes — was an obvious choice. I tied the ribbon in a double half-bow for a tailored, clean look.
What the client had to say:
Client: Harry Rosen
- Branded houndstooth wrapping paper
- Grosgrain ribbon in chocolate
